The Square D QDP22125TM is a 125 Amp, 2-pole molded case circuit breaker designed for high-amperage branch circuit protection. It features a 25kA interrupting rating (D-rating) and is designed to bolt directly onto bus bars using terminal nuts. This model is commonly found in residential and light commercial metering stacks. It is HACR rated, making it suitable for high-inrush loads like air conditioning compressors. Despite its lower amperage compared to the 225A version, it utilizes the same rugged Q-Frame housing style but in a narrower 3-inch width to save panel space.
